Charged Up Training ("Charged Up Training," "we," "our") provides basketball training services and this website. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the service providers we work with to operate the training and parent-account experience.
Information we collect
Depending on how a family uses the site and services, we may collect:
- Parent account information: name, email address, phone number, and account preferences.
- Athlete profile information: athlete name, grade or age-related information, and training focus. Provided and managed by a parent or guardian.
- Training and booking records: scheduled sessions, attendance, cancellations, and waitlist activity.
- Player development ratings and coach notes tied to athlete progress.
- Package and membership balances and related purchase records.
- Email communications including booking confirmations, reminders, schedule updates, and account notifications.
- Assessment responses submitted through the Athlete Assessment.
- Referral information when a family is referred by another family.
- Contact-form submissions sent through the site.
- Technical information such as basic device, browser, and page-visit information used to keep the site running, secure, and to understand how families use it.
- Cookies and local storage used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and support core site functionality.
- Analytics and marketing signals (only with your consent): campaign parameters (UTM), landing path, referring hostname, and advertising click identifiers (Google, Meta, TikTok). See "Cookies, analytics, and advertising" below.
How we use information
- Provide, personalize, and improve training and the parent-account experience.
- Book sessions, deliver confirmations and reminders, and communicate schedule changes.
- Track package balances, membership credits, and completed sessions.
- Support coach-led development and player evaluation.
- Operate and secure the website.
- Respond to questions submitted through contact forms or email.
Athlete information
Athlete information is provided and managed by a parent or guardian. Parents may review or request updates to athlete information at any time by contacting Coach Devin.
Service providers we use
We use the following providers to operate the site and services:
- Supabase — account authentication and secure storage of account, athlete, booking, and package information.
- Stripe — processes all payments on Stripe-hosted checkout. Card information is handled by Stripe. Charged Up Training does not store your full card number or CVC.
- Resend — delivers email notifications such as booking confirmations, reminders, and schedule updates.
- Google Fonts — serves the site's typography.
- Lovable — website hosting infrastructure.
These providers process information on our behalf to deliver their specific function.
Payment information
All payments are processed through Stripe on Stripe-hosted checkout. Charged Up Training does not receive or store your full card number, expiration date, or CVC.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We use a small number of first-party cookies to keep you signed in and to save your cookie preferences. Non-essential analytics and advertising are opt-in and split into two independent categories:
- Analytics. When granted, we may load Google Analytics 4 (if configured) and record which pages you visit, campaign parameters (UTM), your landing path, and the hostname (not full URL) that referred you. IP addresses are anonymized. Google Signals and ad personalization are disabled.
- Advertising. When granted, we may load the Meta Pixel (if configured) and record advertising click identifiers (Google Ads gclid, Meta fbclid, TikTok ttclid). We do not send parent or athlete personal information to advertising providers.
If you decline non-essential cookies, no analytics or advertising scripts are loaded and no campaign or click identifiers are stored. You can change your choice at any time using the panel in the footer.
Advertising providers may retain data they have previously received under their own policies. Revoking consent stops future transmission from this site; we cannot delete data that has already been sent to a provider.
How information is shared
We do not sell your information. We share information only as needed to operate the training services — for example, with the service providers listed above, or when required by law.
Data retention
We retain account, booking, package, and communication records for as long as the account is active and as needed to operate the training services and meet our record-keeping needs.
Your choices
To review, correct, or request deletion of parent or athlete information, contact Coach Devin at chargeduptraining@gmail.com. Some information may be retained where required to complete open bookings, honor active packages or memberships, or comply with legal obligations.
Children
Charged Up Training works with youth athletes. Athlete accounts and information are created and managed by a parent or guardian. Parents may request review, correction, or deletion of their athlete's information at any time by contacting us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version is always the one published on this page. The "Last updated" date above reflects when it was most recently changed.
